Civil Ceremonies

As soon as you have made a provisional booking for your wedding at Scalford Hall, you should contact the Registrar’s Office at County Hall in Leicester on 0116 305 6565.

Without the presence of the Superintendent Registrar and a Registrar there can be no marriage and any arrangements made with us depend entirely on their availability. Bookings can be made up to two years prior to your marriage date and a fee is payable when you confirm your booking. The fee for the Registrar is to be settled directly with the Registrar’s Office in Leicester.

Arrangements for the Civil Ceremony are discussed with the Superintendent Registrar and Scalford Hall may not assist in the organisation of the service

The following rooms are available for Civil Ceremonies and have been licensed under the Marriages (Approved Premises) Regulations 1995:

The Room Hire Charge includes the hire of the room for your Civil Ceremony, two flower pedestals** and a CD player for music played before and after the ceremony. You may choose to add your own decorations to the Civil Ceremony Room and access can be provided from 6pm on the evening prior to your wedding.

**Please note there may be an additional charge should you wish specific flowers to be incorporated.

Scalford Hall provides a Civil Ceremony for Weddings, when the Wedding Breakfast and Reception is being held at the Hall.
